Hi Mom,

My first week was great I just got over my diariha. you asked . My comp is from North Carolina. he is awesome with a greatr spirit and a love for the people. its actually really nice its kind of humid but the same elevetion as Provo. So its nice and chill in the morning. The food is great even though you there are side effects sometimes. i have Three teachers but everyone here gets to know everone So everyone who is a teacher helps us out. That is really nice.Spanish is still coming along give me a week and i could write this in Spanish we will see... Yea everyone doesnt believe me But eventually they learned to take my word for it. i am loving some of the latinos they are hilarious. I am having a blast but in a way of learning and growing. Love you mom and the specific questions help. I will write more next week.


Hi Dad,
yea this place is great But it is not part of my mission it is the only place along with the temple that isnt. bur that is okay i am actually going to the temple today. I am way excited for that. I did see the hubers yesterday at lunch had a really good chat with them. that actually funny about the AZ Guat thing Some of the guys in the district are starting to thin i know everyone. but that all good . i am staying humble and working hard. We watched a MTC devotional with E Oaks This was actually the day before i got there. And I swear it has risen me to a new sense of missionary work and probably changed my mission for the better. Well love you dad I will talk more next week.

5/18/2011 (back 2 back p-days, 2 diff MTCs)

Hey mom we just got some time to tell you that everything is fine and all. The flight was all good and we arrived on time. I didnt get much sleep though on the plane and by the time we were picking up our luggage I really needed a shower. i finally got one and a nap but I still cant wait to go to sleep tonight. This place is great it is pretty smal two three story building 1 is a chapel/cafeteria/office/residence hall and the other one is class rooms. I already meet everyone that speaks english it s not alot and they encouage us always to HSI (syl). Actually most of the stuff here is newer than provo They are doing some rmodeling on the first floor. I think this is my Pday today Because some of the other Elders went to the temple i didnt catch much I am really spacey. I go ta New Copmanion his name is Elder Carr he is 26 from Washington and has a great testimony. Basically everyone on the plane with me here is all one district. It is wierd to think about being in whole nother country I am not scared but its really a strange feelling. Dear Elder does work here so that can be one way of talking with me. The climate is not that bad I really like it alot. Just keeping the window open feelling that breeze. The food is great so far I dont think I will have a problem at all. Hey Mom This sucks because I am running out of time becuae i could figure how to Email you though contact If i run out I will write you. Well Today is the last day I report at 430 pm Get on a plane to LAX Then have a flight at 1230am I should grt top Guatemala Around 6. i am the travel leader i am not trying to be boastful i actually kind of nervous I have to make sure 5 missionaries get on the plane safeley swiftly and with everything. Well I will write you i am totally out of time

THats cool I was just wondering about that thats good news. Today is tuesday do you know why the flag was at half mass on Sunday. THought that was wierd and we havent heard anything here. Its my last day in the MTC and its a p day lucky me. I am washing clothes right now and that about it they said everythings fine with my visa I do not know what that means but they got it all figured out. Hopefully the two flights (salt lake to LAX to guatemala) goes well. Okay Dad I love you and am greatfull for your example. I will talk to you next week.

Hello Mom hope you got my mothers day card I was really surprised that there werent any actual m day cards but anyways sorry for that. There are a whole bunch of people from AZ here we have the most besides Utah. Actually 8 are from QC alone that was surprising and really cool. This last week I have learned soo much about myself my purpose and our heavenly father. I am soo Grateful For the opportunity to serve This is where i need to be. My body finally got used to the cold and now i have to leave. But I think it is awesome how soon I get to be around all spanish all the time. The CCM isnt to bad at least from what I have heard. oh and my acne is starting to get a little bad but i will buy some facial cleaner today. i was wondering if you could tell me how much is on my card and tell me through dear Elder.I also have some guys goung to puebla in a few weeks do we have family there? I also was wondering if I could get a copy of Something Bruce R McConkie wrot it is called how great is my calling ask Kenyon. If you could do that I would Really Appriciate it Thanks and I love mom Bye.

I hope everything went well with the drive and everything I did get your dear elders but at the same time It is really great here and if you didnt guess today is pday at least for this and the next two weeks. First two days were wierd but not hard as the other Elders say. i am trying to maintained focussed which is hard when you are sitting in the same chair for three hours My District is great 4 are going to handuras tegulcigalpa 5 to chile and three to guatemala same mission samr time here at the Mtc's. One is my Companion Elder Hopkins and he is great. Everything is going good and as of tomorrow am no longer the new guys. We cant call On mothers day but i can when We leave idont know if that means here or Guatemala CCM Well I love you mom and the family and make sure to write i sent you and the lunas a written letter let me know if you get that. Bye

Hey Dad its been going good i am safe and okay and it is awesome here. There are at least 5 people from Queen creek here and the spanish is flying kind of its probably just my perspective. But i am not as homesick as i thought as soon as i said goodbye i didnt look back. i am also learning alot of gospel doctrine to and getting so closely in touch with the spirit. Yea I heard about bin aden Some of the more Patriotic missionaries were all excited. That is great news about kenyon i was worried for a while but now that i think about it he just has his own way of expressing things. Well i got to go I only have 30 min on here
