Well chambon means lazy but like a type of person (el es un chambon) Tambien hay diferentes maneras utilizar como estoy chamboinando. No hay mucho que puedo recodar que es diferente enter los dos pero solo casi todos usan vos no vosotros es un manera hablar en tu, con personas que no tienen respeto. Como dude or bro I would think in enlish. the stuff you used to say to me alot yes i remember i ask my comp some times and he would say man your mom was mad at you. Haha I did not get to make the cheese cake but maybr tomorrow I was talking about this today and by far i would say i miss chinese food in general its just not popular what i would do for a bowl of orange chicken. Here my favorite meal has been this chicken with some rice and a type of cream that is good. No mor baptisms still as of the last ones we had like a month ago the problem right now is getting people to church. An area is defined as a place were one companionship is assigned. A district has anywhere from 2 to 5 companionships next is a zone which here is usually a stake. there are 9 zones in our mission and three regions cost capitol and moutain. We see other missionaries at least once a week in district meeting there is divisions aswell where we trade with the district leader or zone leaders. and we sometimes get together on pdays. I know almost everyone in the zone and its sweet to see them. at least in the district here are the missionaries my comp e rivas belize, E johnson arizona, e carlson oregon, e lontine colorado e pelicò guatemala e adams arizona e merche el salvador. Yea this week was great i sent you an email but aparetly something went wrong so this is a copmpolation of both. One thing i have learned this week and can say for a certanty i sI kno wthat my redemer lives. Its very wierd to think about the person i was before but i guess that is just time in the missh. One thing we talked about as copms was obedience he said that some missionaries wernt liked because of how fletch they were i was thinking that is what i want to be not necessarily disliked but known as an obidient missionary. Her you really put priorities where thay are supposed to be the important things in life. Because when you are trying to ask some one to change thier life its hard if i dont think and live the same way as iam teaching during and after the mission. To Dad:

Thanks Dad for the advice always welcome and yea sometimes time gets away from you when you are writting. Here is amazing we still havent had any more baptisms but one thing i have learned is pacience and hope and faith. W efind a bunch of people but the interesting part is getting them to church. Thats great to here about the family staying busy. One thing i can saw with out doubt is that i have a father in heaven and his son came here to atone for my sins i basically said that everyday but the other day i was studying and it just hit me like a ton of bricks. That same day all i wrote in my study journal was I know that my redemer lives. You have a lot more power in testimony evertime you bear it. That is one experience i had on the other hand they say that you arent a true guat missionary untill you poop you pant 3 times well you can scratch one off. Things are going great here always trying not to be complacent in monthly or changly interviews president gave me some pointers but he said most of the solution is just realizing that you are not doing everything you can to establish and help build the lords kingdom. So you mentioned that you are really starting to love the people. How are you liking the country/city of Guatemala?
Tell me about the sister that cooks for you guys. What's her name, what does she usually cook and about how much do you pay her?
Describe some of the homes you visit your investigators in.
Is everyone pretty humble there, or do you get to visit with people with means as well?
Tell me about your most exciting thing that has happened in the last two weeks?
Tell me about some of the members in the wards you get to work with or have gotten to know. Names and what are they like?
How about the Bishops?
Tell me about your zone conferences? What have you learned and have you heard from any general authorities?


Oh man its great here people are all diferent but as a misionary you start caring about people and see them as children of heavenly father. As well the scenery is awesome it basically really dirty city straight into jungle some peoples back yards you should see. Its a risk taking our cameras to our area but one of these days I will. The guy that robbed us didnt do anything he was just really drunk started throwing up gang signs and asked us for money we didnt know if hre had a gun on him but we didnt want to find out it was 5 quets which is about 70 cents he wanted 10 dollars american but we were like we dont car dollars. He left after that no problem we fist bumped and everything. Our cocinera is hma Sacaida she makes good food like chicken, soup, noodles, beans and rice whatever it pretty varied. we pay her 15 quetz a day (2 bucks) that is a worked out deal across the whole mission. becaus some time we eat in other areas like the zone leaders. Holmes are varied to depends where exactly we are like colonies like 8 de marzo, la joya, Acentamiento are poor. But others are nice two stories brick walls. Basically everyone has tin roofs so when its raining hard we cant teach because no can hear anyone. That isnt a big problem but it happens. Not eveyone is humble no but alot are. Thats not the problem because we can basically get into any house we want but everyone and thier dog son evangelicos. One of the most exciting things was probably when i got off the bus and my copm didnt and i had to run after it untill the next stop he didnt even know. The common form of entertainment for us is the drunks though. There is something always going on with them. We only have one ward in our area the people are great Some families like familia lopez are pilas Hmo always helps us out. another would be familia Xec The parents are fun and two son Oliver who is 28 and alex who is 23. The both arent married and is doesnt look like it is happening soon. We like to molestarles about being chambones. Alex knows alot of english and asks me about american culture. That actually is something i get asked alot And i have noticed that we have alot of things that these people dont . Like one of our recent converts Conrado he is 60 something doesnt have a job cant find one and barely getsa along, yes ward members help him but he doesnt have social security or any real support. He has family but only one of his daughters help him out. Just something i was thinking about. Our bishop is awesome he is pretty young though just barely 30 but he gets stuff done loves us and likes to have us over. He says the last 2 or three companionships havent been as hardworking as us. I have had one zone conference it was with the four city zones but no general authorities, it was awesome i learned alot. alright mom thats all for this week love you and thankyou for everything love hearing about the family and everything. No i stayed here for one more change with my comp we are pumped because we got a lot of people here to baptize. Love the area its one of the more sucsessfull in the mission but any investigator is nice. Everyone is mostly nice even when they regects us one of the more progessing ones is Fam Ramirez They need to get married before they can be baptized because they really want to get baptized. They have to work on some papers which cost money and they are really poor we cant help them only animarles. Mission president is great you can really see that he recieves revalacion for this mission. There are no costcos in this mission but i was thinking about sending a box home i am going to find out how much that costs first its just some stuff in english that i want for after i get back because i am basically stuying in spanish now. And some clothes like that rain jacket i dont think am going to use it here maybe after. I willl probably put the camera in to because i dont have time at all. love you mom thanks for everything that you do.

Thanks Dad for the support always I am trying towork hard and enjor it at the same time. Today is the day we find out if one of us is leaving and who. Yea it has been a crazy change. Glad to hear ben is doing better.Also that josh is alive i still habent heard from him yet. I get flashbascks of football sometimes when I talk about it. Ammie and Eric will have a blast this year. Sorry to hear that the honda is back to its old habits there was a pretty good run there. Well love you Dad and always thanks for everything you do.

We have had two baptisms so far but they are good noe and evrthing. Well we ahve zone council where our zone gets together and just go over a point we need to improve on its great practice. Then there are zone conferences which is more like region conference becuase it is all of the city zones which is alot of misionaries. where president assitentes and secretaries come and its all ofcial basically so president can get closer with misionaries and teach something. We had this just last thurs day and i bore mr testimony it was great.THere are alot of ares in our zone and i cant remember them all. Actually at he zone conference i got to see all of my district from the CCM. I dont think i hve lost alot of wieght but who knows. Everything is fine except when my memory was all out my camera wont read any more. I formated it and everything tried other peoples memeory cards but still nothing kind of frustrated with that but its nothing to get all worked up about. love you mom and talk to ya next week.
