That it great to hear abotu the work I really am super excited to see that the blessing of the Lord are in our lives. It doesnt seem long at all that I was in the MTC my first area baptism but here I am. I tlooks lik eI will change area in april but nobody knows. The training is going great. He is getting a ton better. Honestly he has a great potential as a missionary and person in general.We have many investigators and people to pray for but the work is great we have a few families the Cordero the Gomes and the Jetellá. They are our stars right now. Alright love you Mom and all that you do.

You are right about the seasons it is either raining or not that is the big split. ITs funny to hear about weddings because it is sooo hard for us to realize one but we will achieve that is actually one thing we have got big right now is some families are getting married then baptized. I am so scared to leave this area because it is kind of a big possibility that I am gone 18 of april (I know right before the year). But I know thwe Lord has a purpose in todo. Back 2 Back Months with Pix
Dallin and his mom decided not to write each other today. There were photos shared however.
Oh Brandon...... Well the life sounds great in AZ. I would agree with Bro larson everthing is really cheap but the plain tick is ridiculous. With the doctrine and the aplicacion of the lesson it is really simple to teach you really can keep it on the basics, but you do have to be direct. You can talk about the Great Apostasy all you want but if you dont say that thier is only one united church on the face of the earth that has all the truth they just wont get it. I love studying the doctrine but you gotta be careful that it is always concentrated on the needs of the Investigators. Easter doesn´t exist down here it is Holy WEEK. They decorate the streets and have parades like notyhing else. Well that is the cultural side, Righth now the wqork is smoothing out we had some rough weeks in the past but most of it was just not planning well. We have a family with baptismal dates for the 1st of April. We are also looking at mich more the is the last trial in this next coming week to get them to the covenant of baptism. Love you Dad take care and hope you have a good Restfull week.

The Dog I Never Had
I did get the recipies Thankyou. THe picture of Dad is sooooo classic. That sounds really cool about the musical group. I cant remember if I saw them but the name sounds familiar. Well I would like to see how long the dog makes it in the house but that will be something really new. I really am going to work on these recipies though. Well here we are working it looks like the rainy season is about to start up again but the new shoes got here just in time, Also I still got the boots. I know for sure that we will be here till April. we just gotta keep working. The work is always good and we have a ton o fblessings. Alright Love you mok and I will write to you next week.

Leap Day Eve
No question theme continues:
Well this week was great here in Guatemala. wow ammon is 14 that is wierd to think about. that a is great story about uncle Jeff. well ward activity sounds great and seems like I only know half the ward now. We have alot of people to work with right now I am not going to lie this month is going to be crazy fun with missionary work. I saw that you wrote package"s" I did get the one from you guys but I didnt know I was waiting for another or was that a typo. Well The package was fantastic. Some Elders did laugh at the pedameter but they wont be laughin gwhen I got good waliking form and know how many steps I take in a week. I am not going to lie I am missing the food. I f you could send me some recipies for hamburger patties and the salsa recipie that would be great. Love you mom and all that you do

Wow feburary just flew by. well I dont know the time is werd right now it goes by fast just all of the sudden. ya I was thinking about the birthdays in feburary pretty hectic as always. I am really excited for this upcoming month we are going to be on fire I can a¡only hope with all of my minght that I dont have transfers. I dont know about the transfers but the training is going great. That is super cool to hear everything went well with Angela´s baptism. Haha you sound so rich went you say it like that "we batted a few sets with the Whites then after we took a breather with some spiced ginger ale" no just joking. Well we are always working here with a few families basically the only challened we have is getting them to church. Have any ides or suggestiones? Well love you guys and all that you do mom. BDay Boy

Thanks mom for pictures they are really good. I dont know about hte
package it might be in the office but we will see monday. Ya this
monday we worked like always just at the end we got to a members house
and they found out so they made me a cake and sang for me. I was
thankfull for that. I really am blessed to be a missionary. Well taht
was the week now I am going to TRY To send photos its always sooo
hard. I love you mom.
Note to Dad:
Wow that is really cool about uncle Bill. I do like the interview. Ya
grandpa´s birhtday was yesterday. He would be 85 right? Isnt Arizona
100 now? Well the work is still progressing we already have goals for
april and march which are204 for two months in a row. Here in barcenas
everthing is going great my kid is really learning fast and is on the
ball. We are trying to get two or three families baptised in march
that would make me sooo happy because this families are great and I
know are choosen. I hear that Angela is getting baptised preety soon
so That will be a great service. We did baptise A little old lady who
is already showing us her family man she is soo pilas. Alright I love
you Dad and all the support I will pray for the family and I hope josh

well I forgot about the whole singing thing in the morning it is funny how it always works out. That or you break into the bathroom and sing to me in the shower. The baptismal count was 221. Yes it was 5 weeks but we already have plans to do the 204 back to back in april and may. So you want to loose weight but "hit" the fry bread.......... just wanted to be clear I understood right. What it looks like is that I am going to hit the year with my kid and I will have two areas this one and the last. I dont see tie as an enemy but I way to make sure I am working. My kid is from Honduras. He is really small and comes from a family of 14. His parents are converts and has a great testimony. He is 18 years old (youth at the age of 18 in central america can fill out papers). His name is elder Paguada. We are working hard and he definately has faith like it is always with newbees. Thankyou for all the love and support. I love and always keep up with those stairs

So now that your responsiblities have changed, what is a typical day like for you?
Have you had any transferes or changes?
What are the wards like in this new area?
Sorry for the pictures no excuses but the internet did go out so we
lost like 15 minutes. But ya know how it goes there is no time for
anything this week is a little hecktic becuase I am training again.
With all that I forgot my memory so.... No picture this week either.
Well ya I remember those days but its all good. I would imagen that
Dad is going to baptise Angela. This week was a little full with a
bunch of meeting and reunions and I have the awesome chanse to train
again a second kid and everything. Being a trainer and district leader
You basically have to do everthing perfect its not easy but it sure is
worth it. The ward is great all the members love us and are willing to
take part in the work. We will have a great week this week. My
companions name is Elder Paguada he is from Honduras and has a great
testimony and loves to work and help others. Thankyou mom for
everything Love you And have a great week.

What a world. That is pretty cool about Mitt Romney. So did Brandon
say anything in specifics about the papers? Soo......... What are you
guys thinking about on coming down to Guatemala I know the answer but
it really is beautiful down here. Now that I mention it I really
havent been to many historic sites I gotta start having actual Pdays.
President Utchdorf( super hard for the people here to say) did not
make it personally to any mission funcion or anything like that. I
heard that Elder Nelson Did meet somje missionaries in the CCM. That
would have been cool. This week we ae going to work hard 1. Why not?
2. We have a ton of meeting so we have to make up. 3. I am training
again so I got to show my hijo how it is done. Well tell everone I say
hi and everything is great here south of the border. Alright thankyou

Why did Adriana get knee surgery? Sorry about the pics I will get on that today. Well if I could ask for something ot would be the shoes just the same one that are used for proselyting. music would be cool more of mo tab would do great. Onr thing is if you can find a padometer (The thing that measures your steps) that would be sweet. Oh! i just remembers online I dant know where but its there you can find a place where the make little preach my gospels they are little pocket sized. If you can find it and get it I need 2 because an other elder wants one too. He will pay me later. Alright love you mam and I am going right now for the photos.

We have 190 and one more week to go! thanks for the prayers. this week we have been working hard. I did get the news I am training again. Everyonr says that seals the deal after these two changes I will be zone leader. ITs nothing impotant to me (zl) but training is fantastic. But that can wait here we are trying to get a ton of baptisms more in feburary. With time I am trying not to think about I know it will ne great but everthing in the lords time. 3 day weekends are great. Great to hear about how you got some rest. Well sorry to hear that aunt frieda isnt doing great what ever be the Lord´s will may she get better. well this week was great we had some people in church and the numbers did go down a little but upon studying a talk on success and and enthusiasm I just gotta keep working love you mom SOORRY but I am out of time
Advice for Dad:
Well Angela is good and healthy it sounds. Well hopfully in these coming weeks things can calm dwn for you guys. That is not we want down here we are at 97 set in stone and have 144 set dates for baptism. We are pumed. And the thing is here in barcenas we have 8 more in feburary so things aint slowng down. We actually have 2 for janurary So we are going to put in our part. Well one thing about this week is a missionary in the district gave me a book of mormon in french le livre de mormon. I think I will study a little. Well thanks for the update I did see that LSU and Alabama were going at it I didnt see any action but that is another world. Thankou for everything ave a great week.

New Year / New Post
Mom's New Year q's:
How has it been getting back to work with things being back to normal?

How do you like your new area now?
How are you doing with the new responsibilities as DL?
How are you getting along with the missionaries that you are over?
What do you like best about this area you are in?
The work is great we always have opportunities to wok and keep going. The baptism was great her husband is already a member so they are going to get sealed in temple in a year or so. IT was pretty sweet to have a baptism in the new year.The area is still great the members are really supportive and we always have worrk to do it is great. The responsabilties are pretty basic its just to look after the missionaries here we are to compañionships in 1 ward it is not too common but it is a blast. Everytone in the district is great w eget along because its a small district. Well areas dont really change just the missionaries and there willingness to work and work hard. So we are doing that here in BARCENAS. THe only difference really is it is a little mountainoues and there is a Walmart. There isnt much time today but I will send some pictures soon. I love you guys alot take care and I will right next week (with some pictures).

Ah man I remember her still a little. I will keep her in the prayers. That is great news about Kenyon sounds like he is really doing great. The goal with all the set dates and actuals we have got 177 some thing like that. Here we are pushing the limit with all the work and to put in our part. I aswell do not have much time but the work continues. I lobe you dad and hope you have a little luck with the date changing.

Last Minute Email
It was all good basically all I could scramble. I was actually pretty impressed that it got there because I put the wrong zip code. Right now just keep Brandon going strong. I got a letter in store for him and everything but how is he doing with the papers. Yah upon reading mom´s letter i can see that you guys are super busy. What a wierd time to have a wedding BUT work is work. On this end we are doing great just baptised a lady and we are lookin at 2 more at the end of this month. Well I believe there was a baggy for brandon in the package. Hopefully angela will grow into the gloves and I vote kenyon did the best impression of the foto of me. love ya Dad thsnkd for everything and we will write you in a week.
